"Casting Nets"

The "Casting Nets" series reflects the act of searching, of sending ideas, questions, and creative impulses outward into the unknown and seeing what returns.

In these paintings, networks of lines, intersections, and expanding forms suggest the motion of nets being thrown across space. The imagery hints at both physical and metaphorical systems of connection: fishing nets, neural networks, star maps, and the invisible webs that link thoughts, people, and experiences.

Built with layers of acrylic paint, ink, and premium metallic inks, the compositions create depth and movement across the surface. The metallic elements respond to light in ways that make the structures appear to shift and expand as the viewer moves.
